On behalf of the family, I want to thank you and the Casablanca Winery Inn staff for the wonderful service we received with the preparation and all the help yesterday. Danielle and her staff of ladies were marvelous. There were more people than we had expected and the ladies kept the trays filled and when we had to order some extras, it was there in record time.

Looking through the guest book, we had closer to 120 than the 75 we had expected. It was a wonderful afternoon for Mom and Dad. Everyone enjoyed it.

I will definitely recommend the facility to anyone who will ask me, because it was wonderful.

Thought you might like to know that our evening on Saturday night in the Vintage room for cocktails and dinner was fantastic!!!! The staff were outstanding - our waitress and bus boy were Catherine and Evan and they attended to every request plus some. The food was superb and the evening was outstanding with the two rooms for our guests. Our two children put on a dvd slide show for us and an older lady made us feel very welcome upon our arrival.

Hi Lori,

The event last Thursday could not of gone any better than any of us hoped … not only was this first annual family event well attended but the venue itself was perfect. You certainly have a gem there in Grimsby, the set up for us was perfect!

I must also comment on the sheer magnificent food that all my guests raved about… both the Salmon and the Prime Rib were crowd favorites.

It wouldn’t be fair not to mention the professional service that we received from the Casablanca staff, from the main server to the support she had was impeccable!  Our server cared for each of my guests with the extra attention to the more senior gentlemen… they all so enjoyed the service.

All in all it is the beginning of a new family tradition and never to veer away from your location, and for me personally I have found a new location to host some business functions moving forward!

The room was wonderfully prepared for us, the teacups, tables and linens looked lovely. The servers were fantastic, in particular I'd like to note that Catherine was right on the ball, very professional, discreet when necessary, accomodating and cooperative. I hope that you're aware that she's quite an asset to your banquet staff!

With the exception of not having very many of the obviously favoured blueberry scones, everything else was plentiful, delicious and served beautifully on the tiered dishes.

For your information, based on 54 responses, Casablanca received an average score of 3.72 out of 4.0 for your meeting facility and 3.43 out of 4.0 for the Meal and Refreshments.

What a wonderful evening that was for my retirement! Just as expected, the Inn and its staff came through with flying colours. 
 

The guests are still talking about what a beautiful venue it was and how surprised they were when they walked in the front doors to see the beauty of the Casablanca Winery Inn, and that was before they even got upstairs to the Ballroom- which always looks spectacular. I’m sure a lot of them will remember it for their own upcoming events as they occur.

The meal far exceeded even my expectations, with the quality and the amount of food that was put out. It was great value.

I know I ran overtime with speeches, but it made no difference. The meal was there and was kept hot with no interruptions at all. I was trying please, just as we were with our daughter’s wedding last October.

The suite that you provided to Jill and me was absolutely gorgeous as well.

Thanks again so much for your part in this fantastic evening which was a beautiful kick-off to my Retirement.
